Angle tired of TNA

Inside source in Nashville office has confirmed Angle has not been happy with the TNA product. He wasn’t sure how bad the blow up was but did say Angle is working injuried and upset with the direction of the company.  Staff is afraid he will go to WWE.

Angle flips out.

This is just a rumor.
Kurt Angle was scheduled to undergo surgery in late January, but with Jeff Hardy and Sting not going on the  U.K. tour, Angle’s surgery was pushed back so he can be on the tour.

During the Glasgow, Scotland taping, an angle was shot where Kurt was beaten with steel chairs, which appears to be where he is written out of TNA story-lines.
The next day in Manchester, Angle was informed by TNA Creative that he was slated to do a run-in during a segment. Sources indicated that Angle hit the roof because he had already been written out of story-lines and because he was working despite doctor’s orders to not do anything physical due to the impending surgery.

John Gaburick was said to be the one that Angle flipped out to, and in the end, Angle did not work the taping that night in Manchester. According to sources, Angle “completely lost it” on Gaburick. So, unless the angles were filmed out of sequence, it appears TNA is expecting Angle to gut through the Lockdown PPV as well.

Lol TNA trying so hard.

TNA sources have been floating stories that Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards turned down a “longer tryout” with WWE to instead sign with TNA.
Like anyone would want to sign with a company that has maybe 250 fan watch them at a live show.  Really? Can you say desperation? They should have listened to me when they had the chance.  Lol

Jesse Sorensen explains how Dixie Carter lied to him.

Jesse Sorensen was interviewed by Highspots last summer, which you can purchase here. Here are some highlights from the interview:
– At the hospital, Jesse’s mom was freaking out about the bills, but Dixie Carter re-assured her in front of everyone that she didn’t have to worry about money.

– Jesse said Dixie specifically said, “As long as I have this company, you’ll always have a job.” Dixie even told Jesse’s mom she thought of him like her son as well. At one point Sorensen’s mom referred to him as “my son,” and Dixie corrected her and said, “You mean OUR son.”

– Jesse could move after the first few days, but was in too much pain to walk. Out of nowhere, Kurt Angle burst into the hospital room, gave him the mother of all motivational speeches, told him to stop feeling sorry for himself and get up and go on with his life. Jesse later managed to walk down the hall to the bathroom.

– He gets the criticism about wrestling again, but says it makes him happy and you have to live life to the fullest. He admits he might be addicted to wrestling.

– When he broke his neck he was under his mom’s insurance, but admits the insurance was “pretty crappy” and maxed out at $10,000.

– He paid for his MRIs, doctor appointments, cat scans and rehab himself. He said he has friends in WWE who were stunned at the situation because if they ever got hurt, they never even saw a medical bill. He said the only way his mom managed to rid herself of the bills was to file for bankruptcy.

– TNA’s response to his complaints about medical costs was to give him a production job that paid decently. Jesse denies it was a lot of money though, especially compared to guys like Hogan.

– He got fired and said the company seemed taken aback by the massive negative reaction. Dixie called Sorensen after the “Ask Dixie” stuff flared up and asked him if they could release a joint statement saying the release was 100% amicable and he asked to be let go to pursue other things. He said no and told her to just let it blow over. His mom was furious at Dixie for even asking.

New Wrestling Promotion on CMT?

Jeff Jarrett has not announced his next project because he’s likely waiting until a few things are finalized. It’s still believed, however, that he will announce a new wrestling promotion and a partnership with Toby Keith. It’s possible they already have a TV deal lined up, rumored to be CMT but that is NOT confirmed …… yet. This is just a rumor.

New promotion?

There is talk of Jeff Jarrett starting a new promotion. He had been talking to Toby Keith for a while on a purchase deal of TNA. Right after those talks stop Jeff left TNA,  and heres the kicker as posted last night Jim Ross had a lunch wiry Toby. Could JR, Toby and Jeff be working on a new promotion?  More details as I get them in.

Jim Ross noted on his Twitter last Tuesday that he had a “great meeting with a major sports concern… Could be big…and fun!” He wrote later in the week that he had dinner with Keith and others in New Orleans while he was in town for the Sugar Bowl. A fan mentioned the meeting with Keith and brought up Jeff Jarrett, to which Ross replied (see pic)

JR’S BLOG

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross is back with a new blog on jrsbarbq.com. Here are some highlights:

– Enjoyed visiting with my Okie friend Toby Keith in NOLA as we stayed at the same hotel for the Sugar Bowl and had dinner together Wednesday night. We talked a little pro wrestling business and philosophy as Toby is a fan and a very successful business man to go along with his amazing singing career.

Now there have been rumors going around that Toby Keith might be interested in buying TNA.  I think it is interesting to for Jr to mention how Toby is a successful businessman while these rumors have went around.  I’m pretty sure TNA.  If Toby is interested in buying TNA.
