Angle tired of TNA

Inside source in Nashville office has confirmed Angle has not been happy with the TNA product. He wasn’t sure how bad the blow up was but did say Angle is working injuried and upset with the direction of the company.  Staff is afraid he will go to WWE.

Jesse Sorensen explains how Dixie Carter lied to him.

Jesse Sorensen was interviewed by Highspots last summer, which you can purchase here. Here are some highlights from the interview:
– At the hospital, Jesse’s mom was freaking out about the bills, but Dixie Carter re-assured her in front of everyone that she didn’t have to worry about money.

– Jesse said Dixie specifically said, “As long as I have this company, you’ll always have a job.” Dixie even told Jesse’s mom she thought of him like her son as well. At one point Sorensen’s mom referred to him as “my son,” and Dixie corrected her and said, “You mean OUR son.”

– Jesse could move after the first few days, but was in too much pain to walk. Out of nowhere, Kurt Angle burst into the hospital room, gave him the mother of all motivational speeches, told him to stop feeling sorry for himself and get up and go on with his life. Jesse later managed to walk down the hall to the bathroom.

– He gets the criticism about wrestling again, but says it makes him happy and you have to live life to the fullest. He admits he might be addicted to wrestling.

– When he broke his neck he was under his mom’s insurance, but admits the insurance was “pretty crappy” and maxed out at $10,000.

– He paid for his MRIs, doctor appointments, cat scans and rehab himself. He said he has friends in WWE who were stunned at the situation because if they ever got hurt, they never even saw a medical bill. He said the only way his mom managed to rid herself of the bills was to file for bankruptcy.

– TNA’s response to his complaints about medical costs was to give him a production job that paid decently. Jesse denies it was a lot of money though, especially compared to guys like Hogan.

– He got fired and said the company seemed taken aback by the massive negative reaction. Dixie called Sorensen after the “Ask Dixie” stuff flared up and asked him if they could release a joint statement saying the release was 100% amicable and he asked to be let go to pursue other things. He said no and told her to just let it blow over. His mom was furious at Dixie for even asking.

New Wrestling Promotion on CMT?

Jeff Jarrett has not announced his next project because he’s likely waiting until a few things are finalized. It’s still believed, however, that he will announce a new wrestling promotion and a partnership with Toby Keith. It’s possible they already have a TV deal lined up, rumored to be CMT but that is NOT confirmed …… yet. This is just a rumor.

JR’S BLOG

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross is back with a new blog on jrsbarbq.com. Here are some highlights:

– Enjoyed visiting with my Okie friend Toby Keith in NOLA as we stayed at the same hotel for the Sugar Bowl and had dinner together Wednesday night. We talked a little pro wrestling business and philosophy as Toby is a fan and a very successful business man to go along with his amazing singing career.

Now there have been rumors going around that Toby Keith might be interested in buying TNA.  I think it is interesting to for Jr to mention how Toby is a successful businessman while these rumors have went around.  I’m pretty sure TNA.  If Toby is interested in buying TNA.

More Bad News for TNA?

PWInsider reports that TNA is not scheduled to return to Universal Studios to tape Impact Wrestling episodes any time soon. Word is that TNA was unable to secure any dates for 2014 due to the soundstages being booked out for other productions already

TNA HAD a good Story Line

The Magnus Vs AJ story line was great.  Until they had to fuck it up like all the other story lines.  I have said this before and hope Dixie reads this,  with mistakes like this TNA is a sinking ship.  They most likely didn’t come to terms with AJ’s contract because they couldn’t afford to.  Broken story lines and stupid mistake after stupid mistake means NO MONEY. I mean it’s absolutely crazy.

AJ Done With TNA

Another huge mistake TNA could make is not paying AJ Styles what he is asking for. Rumor is Aj didnt even ask for a pay raise, but he had put so much into the company that he wanted his same pay and they tried low balling him. To be honest. If it wasnt for him TNA wouldnt be where they are now. What I bet TNA is doing is finding new talent and paying them little to nothing.

Talks about TNA up for sale.

UPDATE:
The identity of a potential buyer who is reportedly interested about buying TNA is Billy Corgan. Front man for Smashing Pumkins. He is a huge wrestling fan. My source just heard about it late last night. More news had it comes in.

UPDATE: Jeff Jarrett has been seeking some investors and has found a few. In the past Jeff never had problems finding them. He could possibly be the next owner. Seems only right. I ask some TNA stars if there any problems money wise while Jeff was in charge and my source said no, but added things where different then WAY different. Another name being thrown around is Hulk Hogan he has shown in interest in starting a compmany about 2 years before his divorce. So I could see some positive from that. Although I do know from a source at WWE that Hogan has been in talks with WWE about a Royal Rumble appearance and a Wrestlemania match.

I live near Nashville and was told the news yesterday about this. Sorry for not posting it sooner. There are a lot of stories going around about TNA being for sale but there are indeed serious talks going on behind the scenes. There is a potential buyer that has been looking at the company. Representatives for the potential new owners have been at TNA’s offices recently. I will bring more about this when I get the names of the potential buyers. I have an idea and if it is who I think it is. I could see great things happening for TNA.

SoCalVal seen at SmackDown tapings!

BXyQUaPIgAA-7lR.jpg largePaige Nicole Mayo (born March 27, 1986) is an American professional wrestling valet, interviewer/ring announcer, and ringside attendant better known by her ring name SoCal Val (AKA Valerie Elizabeth Wyndham). She is best known for her work in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling.

In August 2006, SoCal Val officially signed with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). On August 18, SoCal Val got kicked out by the Women’s Extreme Wrestling promotion at their PPV taping event Twisted Steel and Sex Appeal. On the December 14, 2006 episode of Impact!, Kurt Angle dragged her in the ring and threatened to break her ankle until Jim Cornette talked him into letting her go. On the March 8, 2007 episode of Impact!, SoCal Val got injured after receiving the Black Hole Slam from Abyss.

In 2008, Val entered into an on-screen relationship with Jay Lethal with signs of Sonjay Dutt also showing affection for Val. Lethal lost his X Division championship to Petey Williams after a Canadian Destroyer on the April 17 episode of Impact!. As part of the storyline, at Slammiversary, Val was scheduled to marry Lethal, but their wedding was ruined when Sonjay Dutt claimed he should marry Val and attacked Lethal. At No Surrender, Val turned into a villainess by giving Lethal a low blow, allowing Dutt to get the victory. In the following weeks, Val’s actions were explained by transitioning her character into a gold digger, claiming that Dutt’s father was the richest man in India. In 2009, Dutt was released thus ending the storyline.

She returned to her previous role as a ring girl on the April 2, 2009 edition of Impact!. She began working as a backstage interviewer beginning on the Sacrifice pre-show. On the October 8, 2009 edition of Impact!, Val was briefly assaulted by Awesome Kong, who had come to the ring during Tara’s match against ODB with a sledgehammer that she intended to use to kill Tara’s pet tarantula, Poison. Although Kong made Val position Poison on the floor outside the ring for her to smash with her sledgehammer, Tara was able to attack Kong and stop her from inflicting any damage.

In June 2010, Val began working as the ring announcer on Xplosion.

On August 22, 2013, Mayo announced she had parted ways with TNA.
